Additional information:
I collected the found objects that compose this body of work during my daily hikes in the forest. Then I chose and isolated some of the pieces I find more interesting. I usually show one natural element alone and unaltered, and in a second stage I add my intervention, which consists of extracting and using the pigment of the natural element to create my marks. This artwork is composed of two frames (9 x 9 inches, each). In the first one, a wild rose plant is mounted on paper. In the second frame, I used the color extracted from the rose hips of the plant to draw the lines with my fingers. Plant collected at: Tuscolo area, central Italy, January 2018
