Time-based project
This work came to life as my project at The Wild – Artist in Residence, Ontario, Canada and consists of installing blank painting supports (usually canvas or paper) directly into the wild and leaving them for an undetermined amount of time exposed to the elements. While I usually make a process of selection and choice of natural elements, in this work I am doing the opposite by letting nature decide and choose what to impress on my canvas. At the moment, the project is ongoing in two different locations: Lazio, central Italy and Ontario, Canada.
