From lake Ørnsø is a site-specific, commissioned work for Silkeborg Bad Art Centre (Denmark) as part of the collective exhibition AMAZING NATURE held at the Silkeborg Bad Art Centre from March, 4 – Dec, 31, 2023.

From lake Ørnsø consists of a series of 23 artworks created with barks, branches, seeds and rocks that I hand-picked from the forest and the lake path surrounding the museum. In each artwork, I present a natural element and its corresponding pigment. The pigment was extracted from the element by hand in my studio and was used to create rectangular and circular forms. In the form of powder, unaltered and unprocessed, each pigment produces a different nuance, resulting in a range of organic shades in the final artworks.
