Additional information:
I collected the found objects that compose this body of work during my daily hikes in the forest. Then I chose and isolated some of the pieces I find more interesting. I usually show one natural element alone and unaltered, and in a second stage I add my intervention, which consists of extracting and using the pigment of the natural element to create my marks. In this artwork, a pine tree bark is mounted on paper, next to the pigment obtained from the bark. Bark found at: Tuscolo area, central Italy, March 2018.
